Montreal Kids’ Activites March 2022
Whether you’re on spring break or just looking for some amazing activities this month, you’ll be happy to know that writing this blog post felt “normal” for the first time in a long time. I had more activities to filter through than I have had in the past few months. The city is starting to get back to its fast pace, so here’s my list of Montreal kids’ activities March 2022.
Disney on Ice – March 3-6
It’s not too late to buy tickets to this skating show featuring some favourite Disney characters including Mickey, Minnie and characters from Koko, Moana, Toy Story and more. English shows of Mickey’s Search Party take place on March 3 at 7pm, March 4 at 11am and March 6 at 3pm.
Tickets from $30-$140, buy online
Giant Animals on the Move – Until March 6
An amazing event is coming to an end at the Biodôme museum in a few days which makes it a perfect time for a visit. Aside from all the amazing exhibits, oversized puppets will be roaming through the ecosystems, set to music and choreography. During spring break, they will be out everyday, with showtimes every 15 minutes in the mornings and afternoons.
$47.75/family of 4
Winter Activities at Verger Labonté – Until March 6
You may not think to visit an apple orchard in the middle of winter but Verger Labonté has some fun activities for families. A 2km skating trail in the woods and through the orchards, a mystery game on skates, an escape room on snowshoes and hot chocolate by the fire and more. Doesn’t it sound like the perfect afternoon out in nature?
Reservations required, $8.95-$20.95
Harlem Globetrotters – March 11 & 12
Another great in-person show is back for basketball fans in Montreal and Laval. The Harlem Globetrotters are bringing their Spread Game Tour to the Bell Centre and Place Bell. Players include both male and female stars for a game that promises to be both entertaining and exhilirating!
Tickets from $39-$141, buy online
Esplanade Tranquille
Quartier des Spectacles has a new attraction in the form of a new public skating rink. During spring break, and in collaboration with Luminotherapie, a circus show called Cadence will perform daily at 6:30 and 8:30pm. Skating instructors will be available during some of the time blocks as well as activities for kids 2-10 years old. Rentals are also available on-site.

And if you want to plan ahead for the month of May, Bach Before Bedtime tickets are now on sale for their two shows on May 15th here.
Breakfast at the Ecomuseum – March 27-April 30
Reserve your spot early to spend a morning at the Ecomuseum Zoo preparing food and feeding various animals. The only english session still available is on April 23rd when you can feed the bears, but french sessions are open on March 27, April 2 and April 10 to feed lynx or bears.

Outdoor Adventure Show – March 26-27
If you haven’t been to a show at Palais de Congres in a while, you’re not alone. But this will be a great first time back. Start planning your summer vacation at this exhibit that showcases everything from camping to paddling. It will be super kid-friendly with a scavenger hunt where kids can fill up stamps in a passport to win prizes. The whole family can also discover the Abraska obstacle course.
Kids under 11 are free, $12/adults at the door
Other Montreal Kids’ Activities March 2022
Now is also the time to start planning your annual sugar shack visit. Cabane à Sucre Handfield is one of my favourites as it has vegan and vegetarian options. If you’re just looking for some delicious maple syrup taffy, make a day trip by visiting Parc Omega where they have their very own sugar shack in the woods.
